Founding and managing attorney, David M. Frank, earned a Bachelor of Science from the United States Military Academy (West Point), New York; a Master of International Public Policy from Johns Hopkins University’s School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS), Washington D.C.; and a Juris Doctorate with High Honors from the Florida State University’s College of Law, Tallahassee, Florida.
Attorney Frank served with distinction as an United States Army Infantry and Special Operations Officer in the Republic of Panama and the Republic of Honduras. He was decorated for his service overseas. Later, he served as an intelligence analyst at the Central Intelligence Agency and a senior consultant for the Department of Defense.
Attorney Frank and his family moved to Tallahassee in 1991. He served as an Assistant Attorney General where he represented the Governor and agency chief executives in multi-million dollar class action lawsuits, negligence lawsuits, and civil rights lawsuits, in state and federal courts.
Since entering the private practice of law, Attorney Frank has focused on personal injury and has successfully represented hundreds of individuals injured due to negligence, assault, or abuse. He also has an impressive track record of success with First Amendment / Whistleblower and Civil Rights lawsuits in Leon and Gadsden Counties. Attorney David Frank has been the lead trial counsel for numerous jury trials in state and federal court. He has obtained settlements and verdicts in excess of a million dollars. David is an “AV” civil trial rated lawyer, the highest rating given by the preeminent national lawyer rating service, Martindale Hubbell, and recognized by Florida Trend magazine as one of Florida’s “Elite Lawyers,” and has been recognized as a Florida “Super Lawyer.”
Attorney Frank has been asked to speak as a guest lecturer on the litigation of mild traumatic brain injury cases, attorney’s fees litigation, school playground safety, Constitutional rights, and other areas.
Attorney Frank is an active member of the community. He serves as Vice Chairman of the Martin Luther King, Jr. Foundation. He is a charter member of the Legal Services of North Florida Founders of Justice Society and a “Partner in Service, and active volunteer for veterans’ charities and programs, and is a member of the Florida Brain Injury Association.
